The volca sample has everything you need to create the music you want. It's small and you can take it with you everywhere! It's an advanced sampler, with a sound engine capable of 8 voices of polyphony, a digital reverb, a powerful dual filter, and numerous potentiometers to interact in real-time with the editing parameters of your sounds. The volca sample 2 USB weighs only 372 grams (excluding batteries), is powered by 6 AA batteries, and has an integrated amplified speaker to play wherever you want. Furthermore, thanks to the USB port, SYNC input and output, and the DIN format MIDI IN socket, this instrument becomes an excellent sound ally for your work in the recording studio and/or on stage. You can also power the volca sample from the mains using the appropriate Korg KA-350 adapter. The micro USB port integrated into the volca sample 2 allows you to connect it to your computer to control it and manage your samples. You can control, synchronize, and play your volca sample 2 from any DAW software. Additionally, individual MIDI channels are assignable to different parts, allowing you to play more easily and articulately with sequencers or keyboards.

Simplified Sample and Pattern Management on Computer

With the Librarian software for the volca sample 2 (available for Mac and PC via download from the KORG website) you can use the USB port to manage, send, and receive your audio samples and patterns almost instantly. You can also use the iOS app AudioPocket to record your sounds on the fly and then transfer them directly to your volca sample.

New Functions for your Beats

Korg has added two functions to the volca sample 2 USB to support you in the music production phase:

- The Pattern Chain mode with 2 different STEP JUMP modes

- Start delay: go "off-grid" with the new start delay function that will allow you to reproduce particular grooves and swing on the parts of your sequence.

More Memory, More Patterns, More Samples, and Bonus Packs!

KORG volca sample 2 USB has enhanced memory, with a generous 200 memory slots: double that of the previous model. 50 have been left empty, allowing you to immediately import your sounds or previously created libraries. 6 more, meaning 16 instead of 10, are the available Pattern memories. volca sample 2 USB comes with a new sound palette that has been carefully programmed and selected to meet the current sound needs of beat makers of any musical genre. It's a selection of 150 sounds, which include audio samples covering the latest EDM genres: Future bass, Trap, Lo-Fi Hip-Hop, and many others.

To celebrate this new generation of volca sample, Korg has collaborated with two of the most innovative and influential artists: Moe Shop and TORIENA, who are recognized as pioneers of the Kawaii Future Bass and Chiptune genres, as well as for their distinct creativity in using samples.
