FEATURES
Laser show creation made easy. Whether a professional music timeline-synced laser show is required, or live laser show control for a DJ set, Showcontroller has all features needed to create stunning laser shows. Showcontroller LIVE allows direct and real-time laser control. It comes with a large set of preset frames and animations, and can be extended with own frames or animations, such as patterns, logos, texts or other graphic elements. Many effects can be applied live to the patterns, such as color, speed, rotation, size etc. Real-time laser control can be done via a computer, or by using MIDI controllers or a DMX console. Live laser control with Showcontroller is extremely versatile.
Key features: real time laser control, timeline-based laser show programming, more than 250 free shows included, drag and drop operation, intuitive handling, logo and graphics import, MIDI and DMX support, support for Realizzer 3D and Depence2 visualizers (with Showcontroller PLUS Update), video event support (with Showcontroller PLUS Update), up to 20 ShowNET LAN output interfaces are supported.
Reliable: no forced updates as the user decides when it is time to update. Discrete: no forced registration to get access to software updates.
Compatible: the ILDA file standard is supported for import and export.
Showcontroller LIVE: Showcontroller LIVE is the software part of the Showcontroller Suite that is especially designed for controlling live laser shows. No matter if it is used to accompany a DJ set with lasers, to play lasers at a festival, or to support a musical or artist performance, Showcontroller LIVE is the tool for every laser show application that cannot be pre-produced or pre-programmed or has no time basis. Showcontroller LIVE is an extremely powerful tool: up to 40 scenes can be pre-set per bank and up to 10 banks can be used. Furthermore, Showcontroller LIVE already comes with a wide selection of already pre-set scenes, so it is very easy to start a laser show.
Showcontroller RealTime: Showcontroller RealTime can be used to create timeline-based laser shows. Laser frames and animations can be placed on a timeline and synchronized to music. A multitude of customizable effects can be added to these frames. Many tracks can be created in parallel. Showcontroller RealTime comes with all features needed for a professional laser show programming. The main window shows the timeline, where all programming elements can be assigned to an overall time base, such as an audio file or a simple time span. The preview window allows seeing a preview of the programmed elements in real-time, but the laser output is also done in real-time. Thanks to the versatile Dongle license it is possible to program in Showcontroller RealTime without a connected interface. This facilitates pre-production processes and allows programming laser shows even on a plane. The Showcontroller RealTime laser show timeline was designed to be very intuitive, even beginners can quickly and easily create their own laser shows. Drag-and-drop programming is one of the key features of the Showcontroller timeline, but also the versatile use of effects that can be applied to laser frames and animations make Showcontroller the right choice for any kind of laser show design.
Showcontroller PicEdit: Showcontroller PicEdit is the program part that is used for creating 2- and 3-dimensional laser graphics. It is a very powerful tool that not only allows creating vector frames but also laser animations. PicEdit works closely together with other software parts of the Showcontroller suite, such as Showcontroller Trace and Showcontroller SVG-Tool. Import own logos from JPG files or get static or animated vector traces from Blender (or other 3D software, using Blender as an export tool).
Showcontroller Tracer: The program part Showcontroller Tracer is specifically designed to repeatedly trace pixel-based images, such as JPG files, into a laser-compatible vector format. Just select an image and have it traced. Various optimization options are available to make the laser projection as smooth as possible.
Showcontroller SVG-Tool: The Showcontroller SVG-Tool allows to import frames or animations in the SVG file format into Showcontroller. These can either be files from the free 3D-Animator Blender (or other 3D programs by using Blender as a converter) or just SVG files from standard vector editing software, such as Adobe Illustrator. Showcontroller is available with two different licensing patterns:
- Showcontroller: supports up to 3 Laserworld ShowNet hardware interfaces (DAC)
- Showcontroller PLUS: supports more than 3 hardware interfaces (DAC), different hardware interfaces are supported, such as Shownet, Netlase, Netlase LC, Easylase II, Phoenix Micro USB V1. This covers the complete range of basic USB to high end LAN output interfaces. All Interfaces support DMX in / out. Showcontroller PLUS also supports the Realizzer 3D and Depence2 implementation and the control of video events. The Showcontroller PLUS license also allows exporting ILDA files.
