The LAUTEN EDEN LT-386 SIGNATURE SERIES is a multi-voicing tube large-diaphragm condenser microphone. The LAUTEN EDEN LT-386 SIGNATURE SERIES is for the most demanding musicians seeking an extremely versatile studio microphone. It offers a unique blend of classic and modern design theory with a smooth, rich low-mid and mid-high timbre reminiscent of classic tube vacuum microphones. The polar pattern switch offers recorders the option to choose between Cardioid, Omnidirectional, or Figure-8 polar patterns. Having the pattern switch on the microphone, rather than on the power supply, allows for quick and easy selection. The LAUTEN EDEN LT-386 SIGNATURE SERIES features "Kick-shaper" and "Vocal-shaper" filters. In its default position, there is no high-pass. The center position is the "Kick-shaper" which, as you can probably guess, was specifically designed for kick-drums. With its very steep low-end cut, it removes the excessive exuberance that could actually compromise a good kick sound. In position 2 there is "Vocal-shaper" which was designed to clean up your vocal tracks for an extraordinarily smooth and classic sound.
