FEATURES
Mistral 3 PRC‑W is a passive installation loudspeaker designed for indoor and outdoor applications thanks to its IP66 rating, which guarantees protection against water and dust. The two-way configuration with a 0.5’’ dome tweeter and a 3’’ polypropylene woofer in a coaxial setup, combined with a rear passive radiator, ensures extended response and excellent speech intelligibility in public spaces, commercial environments, and outdoor areas.
Compared to competing products based on more elementary designs, the Mistral 3 PRC‑W integrates a high-performance tweeter that allows for more accurate and crystal-clear high-frequency reproduction, making the speaker suitable for musical content as well as voice announcements. The rear passive radiator is designed to couple with the wall on which the speaker is mounted, improving low-frequency performance and offering a more pleasant listening experience even in medium to large enclosed spaces. In indoor installations, when multiple speakers are used, the low-frequency emission sums up, making the Mistral 3 PRC‑W particularly effective even without a subwoofer, a feature that clearly distinguishes it from other compact speakers in the same category.
The loudspeaker can operate both at 100 V with selectable power from 1.25 to 10 W, and in low-impedance mode at 8 ohms, offering flexible integration with traditional amplifiers or constant-voltage distribution lines. The rear selector allows for quick setting of power or impedance according to the type of system.
The compact and weather-resistant ABS cabinet includes a wall-mounting bracket that facilitates installation in various configurations. Its small dimensions and low weight make the Mistral 3 PRC‑W a practical solution for discreet yet effective sound reinforcement.
A further advantage is the availability of dedicated presets for LEM Commercial digital amplifiers, with FIR filters that optimize frequency response and significantly improve listening quality, whether using the speaker alone or in combination with a subwoofer.
