The Mistral 8 PR‑B is a full‑range installation loudspeaker designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, thanks to its IP66 certification, which ensures protection against water and dust. The two‑way configuration, featuring a 1’’ silk dome tweeter and an 8’’ graphite membrane woofer with a front passive radiator, ensures an extended response, higher sound pressure, and good speech intelligibility in public spaces, commercial environments, and medium‑to‑large outdoor areas.
The loudspeaker can operate at 100 V with selectable power via the line transformer, or in 8-ohm low-impedance mode, offering flexible integration with traditional amplifiers or constant voltage distribution lines. The rear selector allows for quick adjustment of power or impedance based on the type of system and the required sound pressure level.
The weather-resistant ABS cabinet includes a wall-mounting bracket that facilitates installation in various configurations. The larger size of the woofer compared to more compact models makes the Mistral 8 PR‑B suitable for sound systems where wider coverage and a higher sound level are required, while maintaining a discreet design that blends into architectural contexts.
