FEATURES
LEWITT launches the limited edition LCT 440 PURE - VIDA, a new colored version of its best-selling studio microphone. Each unit sold will support the tradition of Austrian musicians in preserving the rainforest in Costa Rica. In 1991 Michael Schnitzler founded the NGO "Austrian Rainforest" to protect nature and its biodiversity. Michael Schnitzler is a renowned Austrian ecologist and violinist who has performed at the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Philharmonic, giving concerts around the world. LEWITT continues the tradition of Austrian musicians who have supported the project for over 30 years with royalties from their songs, benefit concerts and donation appeals to protect nature and Earth's atmosphere by acquiring over 30,000 m2 of rainforest. "We consider diversity and sustainability as something worth promoting. Especially as nature lovers, it's wonderful to be part of an enterprise dedicated to the conservation of this rainforest treasure," says Roman Perschon, CEO of LEWITT. Since its introduction, the LCT 440 PURE has become a popular best-seller offering studio-quality sound and exceptional specifications to a wide range of users, for home recording, podcasting and streaming. It is now available in a new fantastic color and part of the proceeds go directly to rainforest preservation. The price, however, remains the same as the standard model.
