In recent years, there have been some developments that have radically changed the way things are done, just think of digital photography compared to analog photography and later the giant leap from JPG compression to the open RAW standard which allows the photographer to change important parameters such as exposure and white balance even after the photo has been taken! The LCT 640 TS also provides such a cutting-edge development, but this time for the audio and music industry. Using both outputs of the LCT 640 TS while recording is similar to filming the entire session instead of simply recording a sound source. It adds the freedom to dynamically change the polar pattern during post-production from cardioid to figure “8”. In fact, even while mixing your track, you can still rotate your microphone 180° even though you finished shooting days ago. And we haven't even talked about the enormous possibilities with two LCT 640 TS in a dual stereo system...
