The LOOPTROTTER MONSTER COMPRESSOR is a compressor based on FET (Field Effect Transistor) technology, but it also features a tube circuit inside to recreate an inimitable tube saturation sound, which can be used either in conjunction with the compressor or independently. The LOOPTROTTER MONSTER COMPRESSOR incorporates 3 processors in one: compressor/limiter, tube saturation circuit, and a mix between clean and processed signals. This unique device manages to bridge the gap created by today's "super clean" digital recordings. Its extremely 'musical' intervention mode features the compression stage acting before the tube saturation. This unique combination of compression and tube saturation helps the sound engineer to "bring closer" the sound source and enhance its details. The best applications are therefore compression and adding warmth to track sounds, processing sub-groups, and mastering. The LOOPTROTTER MONSTER COMPRESSOR makes the sound "palpable" and pleasant to listen to. Made with the best analog components available on the market and minimizing the signal path, it ensures signal reduction via FET transistor, optimized to add lower-order harmonics to the sound, making the sound "tangible" and detailed, even with high compression values. Another unique feature of the LOOPTROTTER MONSTER COMPRESSOR is the ability to amplify the even harmonics produced by the tubes (2nd BOOST), a useful feature especially during more radical processing of tracks or sub-groups. All parameters, except saturation, have stepped potentiometers, allowing for the same settings on both channels and faster recall of the same settings.
