Il Maag Audio MAGNUM-K è un compressore analogico mono 1U per un controllo dinamico preciso e trasparente. Include due sezioni di compressione (Magnum Comp e K Comp), un EQ parallelo con Air Band® e un limiter soft clip: perfetto per voci, batteria, strumenti e mix bus.
Due compressori integrati
Magnum Comp passa dalla compressione feedback classica a quella feed-forward più aggressiva, con ratio 1,3:1 – 13:1, range 4 – 16 dB, attacco 5 – 200 ms, rilascio 0,1 – 1,2 s e soglia. K Comp agisce intorno ai 3 kHz per domare asprezze e picchi fastidiosi ed è attivabile separatamente.
EQ parallelo e Air Band
L'EQ parallelo EQ2 lavora su medie e basse frequenze senza alterare la fase, con curve "wide" e "tight" e frequenze da 10 Hz a 1,4 kHz. L'Air Band® offre frequenze da 10 a 40 kHz e boost fino a +12 dB.
Funzioni avanzate
Attenuatore di ingresso (-12 dB), gain addizionale (+12 dB), soft limiter con LED tricolore, sidechain con filtro passa-alto fino a 220 Hz e I/O per sidechain esterno. Controlli a scatti e link stereo via TRS sul pannello posteriore.

About Maag Audio
Mäag Audio is a US company founded in 2009 by sound engineer Cliff Mäag Sr. together with his sons Ryan and Cliff Jr. and Travis Allen. Cliff Mäag had already gained extensive experience in recording and mixing and, in the 1990s, had designed the NTI EQ3 and Nightpro EQ3D and PreQ3 equalizers, introducing the Air Band®, an equalization circuit dedicated to high frequencies. In 2011, Mäag Audio introduced the first product under its own brand, taking up and developing this technology. Over the years, the company has expanded its range with equalizers, microphone preamplifiers, and dynamics processors in rack and 500 Series formats, including the EQ4, EQ4M, PREQ4, and MAGNUM-K. The Air Band® remains a recurring feature of Mäag Audio products and consists of a shelving filter for high frequencies with center frequencies extended up to 40 kHz.
