Il Maag Audio PREQ2-500 è un preamplificatore microfonico a canale singolo in formato 500 Series che riprende la circuitazione del PREQ2 a due canali. Con trasformatore d'ingresso a nucleo in nickel offre fino a 71 dB di guadagno interamente in Classe A, ottimo anche con sorgenti molto deboli e microfoni a nastro.
Air Band® e controlli versatili
L'Air Band® offre fino a +9 dB di boost su cinque frequenze selezionabili (2,5, 5, 10, 20, 40 kHz) per alte ariose e trasparenti. Sul pannello: pad -20 dB, filtro passa-alto a 70 Hz, inversione di fase, phantom 48V e guadagno continuo su doppia gamma.

L'ingresso frontale ¼" a 1 MOhm accoglie direttamente gli strumenti, mentre l'uscita Thru isolata consente il reamping verso amplificatori o pedali.

About Maag Audio
Mäag Audio is a US company founded in 2009 by sound engineer Cliff Mäag Sr. together with his sons Ryan and Cliff Jr. and Travis Allen. Cliff Mäag had already gained extensive experience in recording and mixing and, in the 1990s, had designed the NTI EQ3 and Nightpro EQ3D and PreQ3 equalizers, introducing the Air Band®, an equalization circuit dedicated to high frequencies. In 2011, Mäag Audio introduced the first product under its own brand, taking up and developing this technology. Over the years, the company has expanded its range with equalizers, microphone preamplifiers, and dynamics processors in rack and 500 Series formats, including the EQ4, EQ4M, PREQ4, and MAGNUM-K. The Air Band® remains a recurring feature of Mäag Audio products and consists of a shelving filter for high frequencies with center frequencies extended up to 40 kHz.
