Portable Analog Synthesizer
MODAL ELECTRONICS is a portable analog synthesizer, featuring a 16-key capacitive mini keyboard that offers the ability to work in three different modes: monophonic, duophonic, and up to 4 voices of polyphony with 8 oscillators per voice. Modal Electronics' new gem has a modulation matrix consisting of eight slots for as many sources and 37 destinations; an integrated sequencer that allows for working with 256 notes and up to four animation parameters, an arpeggiator, and effects. It allows for storing up to 128 patches and 64 sequences, offers MIDI I/O connections via both DIN and USB, is powered by battery (with 6 AA batteries) or via USB, and has a master output and a headphone output. A free, optional software editor is available, compatible with the following operating systems: Windows, Mac OSX, iOS, and Android.
