The MOOG MUSIC MAVIS is a complete, compact, and feature-rich analog synthesizer. The built-in keyboard, internal connections, and powerful synthesis engine provide it with a wealth of options for sound generation. A full set of patch points makes the MOOG MUSIC MAVIS a true modular synthesizer, capable of working perfectly both in the studio and on a live stage, with other modular or semi-modular systems, or with Eurorack instruments and other electronic devices.
Supplied with a practical kit for assembly that takes only a few minutes, once assembled it provides you with a 100% self-built analog Moog synthesizer. The powerful Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) of the MOOG MUSIC MAVIS is complemented by a Voltage Controlled Filter (VCF) designed like the legendary Moog Ladder Filter. Modulation sources such as the Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) and the four-stage Envelope Generator (EG) add dynamic movement to the sound, with the integrated one-octave keyboard putting everything at your fingertips.
With an unprecedented array of extra features, the Utilities (UTL) and Patchbay allow for operations that will be particularly appreciated by all modular synthesis enthusiasts. Here you'll find a wave folder distortion, a 2-input/1-output mixer, a variable attenuator, a modular multiple, and even a Sample + Hold (S+H) Generator.
The MOOG MUSIC MAVIS is also the very first Moog instrument to offer a Wave Folder, another very interesting technique available within this synth for changing the harmonic content of the sound.
The MOOG MUSIC MAVIS is a semi-modular analog synthesizer that can be played directly from the included keyboard or from an external keyboard/controller/sequencer. The new Moog synth contains pre-configured signal paths that make it instantly ready for musical performance, and integrates a 24-point patchbay (13 inputs and 11 outputs) that allows for unlimited expansion to meet the creative needs of every producer and musician.
