18-channel Audio Interface
The MOTU ULTRALITE AVB is a compact audio interface with 18 inputs and 18 outputs featuring Mix and DSP, wireless control, AVB audio networking, and maximum quality analog audio for mobile audio recording.
The MOTU ULTRALITE AVB provides more I/O than previous models, with separate microphone and guitar inputs (two each), 8 optical ADAT channels (switchable to stereo TOSLink), 6 x 8 balanced analog jack I/O, and MIDI IN/OUT, all housed in a sturdy aluminum alloy half-rack chassis that easily fits into a backpack.
The balanced analog outputs achieve a dynamic range of 117 dB, rivaling the audio quality of interfaces in a much higher price range.
The DSP doubles the processing power available for the completely redesigned mixer, which provides 48 inputs, 12 stereo buses, and 32-bit floating-point effects processing, including analog modeled EQ, vintage compression, and classic reverb. The routing matrix allows users to quickly connect inputs and outputs, or split inputs to multiple destinations. Users can also use the UltraLite AVB as a standalone mixer and control everything wirelessly from the innovative web app running on their iPad™, iPhone™, tablet, smartphone, and laptop.
The MOTU ULTRALITE AVB connects to a computer via AVB Ethernet or Hi-Speed USB 2.0 (compatible with USB 3.0 and iOS) and records at sample rates up to 192 kHz.
Through AVB Ethernet, users can connect another MOTU AVB interface for more I/O, or connect to a MOTU AVB network with multiple interfaces and computers.
