MXR e Third Man Hardware hanno unito le forze per creare il booster perfetto per i musicisti in concerto. Il CSP042 Double Down Pedal combina due circuiti MXR Micro Amp in un unico pedale: il segnale della chitarra entra nel jack di ingresso e il Double Down lo splitta in due uscite separate, ognuna con il proprio controllo Gain per un boost di segnale fino a +26 dB. Sul lato sinistro del pedale è presente uno switch Phase che aggiunge un effetto stereofonico invertendo la fase del secondo segnale di uscita. Sul lato destro è presente invece uno switch Buffer che consente di scegliere tra True Bypass, per i veri puristi, e Buffered Bypass, per mantenere intatto il suono quando si utilizzano due catene di segnale separate.
