OVERVIEW OF THE MXR M101GLD 50TH ANNIVERSARY PHASE 90
Fifty years ago, the Phase 90 marked the beginning of one of the most iconic musical effects companies, establishing itself as the pedal against which all other phasers are compared. Launched in 1972 as the first product of the nascent MXR, the Phase 90 has become a staple on the pedalboards of millions of musicians worldwide, from rock legends like David Gilmour and Eddie Van Halen to contemporary innovators like Tom Morello and John Mayer. Regardless of genre or instrument, the Phase 90 has been present in every context, adding its harmonious voice to musicians' sound palette. This gold-finished edition celebrates the 50th anniversary of this historic pedal. Simply by turning the Speed control, you can take the warm modulation of the Phase 90 from a subtle phaser to a fast, dizzying one.
