Il Super Badass Dynamic O.D. di MXR è un pedale versatile che, grazie ai diodi clipping MOSFET è in grado di offrire sonorità boost ma anche overdrive high-gain vintage. I classici controlli Output, Tone e Gain permettono di trovare facilmente il suono adatto all'esigenza, mentre lo switch Boost/Cut permette di aumentare il livello generale con più midrange o di abbassarlo. Nonostante abbia un suono ricco già di per sé, questo pedale si presta bene per aumentare la distorsione di un amplificatore valvolare.
