OVERVIEW OF THE MXR M292 CARBON COPY DELUXE ANALOG DELAY
The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay is a feature-rich pedal that allows complete control over the delay. This pedal has a delay time of up to 1.2 seconds and Tap Tempo functionality. The Tap Division function, with a status display, offers four different subdivisions: dotted eighths, eighths, triplets, and sixteenths. Sonically, the Carbon Copy Deluxe allows you to choose between the original, dark and chewy sound, or a clear and bright sound by activating Bright mode with the dedicated switch. To add further character, simply press the Mod switch and use the Speed and Width controls to shape the modulation. The expression jack allows you to adjust the delay with an external pedal, and you can program presets. Inside the pedal, there is a Live Level/Instrument switch, which allows the pedal to be used in front of the amplifier or in the effects loop, and a Dry Kill switch that eliminates the clean signal, leaving only the effect. This setting is suitable for studio recording. The pedal is True Bypass and can be powered by a 9-volt battery or MXR adapters or power supplies.
