Lo Sugar Drive è un pedale overdrive di piccole dimensioni e semplice da usare, ma che fornisce un overdrive chiaro e trasparente. Basato su un raro circuito, è dotato di un componente chiamato voltage doubler che rende il suono più chiaro aumentando la headroom generale. L'interfaccia presenta tre controlli: la manopola VOLUME regola il volume generale; il controllo Tone gestisce le frequenze alte riducendole per rendere il suono più morbido o aumentandole per renderlo più incisivo; il controllo Drive agisce aggiungendo overdrive al segnale pulito man mano che viene incrementato, creando un effetto simile alle valvole che saturano all'aumentare della potenza. Il risultato è un pedale che può essere utilizzato come clean boost o come overdrive dal timbro valvolare. Lo switch a lato del pedale permette di passare da un circuito True Bypass a uno Buffered Bypass. Le dimensioni compatte permettono di inserire questo pedale in qualsiasi pedaliera. Può essere alimentato con un adattatore da 9 volt o con uno degli alimentatori di casa MXR (non inclusi).
