OVERVIEW OF THE MXR M303 CLONE LOOPER PEDAL
The MXR M303 Clone Looper Pedal is a compact looper with up to 6 minutes of recording capacity and an unlimited number of layers that are stored even when the pedal is off. An LED flashes to indicate the start of the loop, allowing you to control overdubs. Loops can be stopped and started with the Play/Stop switch, and the most recent layer can be deleted. To keep the instrument's clean signal unaltered, it passes through an analog path. In addition, the bypass system can be set as buffered bypass or true bypass. For those who love to experiment, the Clone Looper Pedal allows you to double or halve the speed (bringing the maximum recording time to 3 minutes and 12 minutes respectively). There is also a reverse function to reverse the recorded loop. These functions can be controlled externally by connecting an MXR Tap Tempo Switch to the CTR jack. The EXP jack offers further options by connecting a volume pedal to adjust the output level or a Tap Tempo to activate "Play Loop Once" mode. The Volume knob allows you to adjust the overall output volume of the recordings. It can be pressed to manage loop speed and reverse function, or to delete the loop silently without playing it.
CONTROLS OF THE MXR M303 CLONE LOOPER PEDAL
REC/DUB: starts recording and overdubs and deletes recordings
VOLUME: controls the output level, loop speed, loop direction (reverse function) and silently deletes recordings
PLAY/STOP: controls loop playback and undo/redo functions
CTR: this jack allows you to connect a tap tempo to control speed, reverse, and silently delete loops
EXP: jack for connecting an expression pedal to set the output volume or a tap tempo to activate "Play Loop Once" mode
FUNCTIONS OF THE MXR M303 CLONE LOOPER PEDAL
1. To start recording, press REC/DUB. The flashing red REC/DUB LED indicates that recording mode is active. Press again to stop recording and start playback.
2. To add a new loop, press REC/DUB. The green PLAY/STOP LED will flash 4 times until the beginning of the loop, so you can start synchronized with the previous loop. Hold PLAY/STOP to delete the last recorded loop.
3. To delete the last loop, hold down the PLAY/STOP button. Hold PLAY/STOP again to restore the last loop just deleted. To delete all recordings, hold down the REC/DUB switch.
4. Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase the output level, counter-clockwise to decrease it.
5. Press the VOLUME knob once to halve the loop speed. The blue LED will light up. Press twice to double the speed. The blue LED will flash. Hold down to activate reverse mode. The LED will light up orange.
6. To delete the loop silently (without having to activate playback) hold down the VOLUME knob for 5 seconds: when the red REC/DUB LED flashes, hold down the REC/DUB switch for 5 seconds to.
