The Neumann KH 150 is a bi-amplified, DSP-controlled two-way studio monitor that combines deep bass with exceptional resolution. Designed for mixing, mastering, post-production, broadcasting and music production, it sets a new benchmark in the category of nearfield monitors with 6.5" woofers. This is the standard version in anthracite (RAL 7021), with a power cable for Europe/Korea.
The system features a 165 mm woofer in a bass-reflex cabinet and a 25 mm tweeter mounted in the MMD waveguide, which ensures a wide sweet spot and reduces reflections from the desk. The amplifiers, based on patented technology that combines audio quality with Class D efficiency, deliver 145 W to the woofer and 100 W to the tweeter. The frequency response extends from 39 Hz to 20.4 kHz (±3 dB), with a maximum SPL of 118.7 dB in a half-space.
The DSP includes FIR phase correction for a linear phase response between 105 Hz and 16 kHz, a 1.7 kHz crossover, and independent limiters for each driver. The KH 150 is compatible with the Neumann MA 1 automatic alignment system (sold separately), which adapts the speaker to the room's acoustics.
It features a balanced XLR analog input and an S/PDIF digital input on RCA, gain controls, four output levels, and equalization for the lows, low-mids and highs. The cabinet measures 345 × 225 × 273 mm and weighs 8 kg; the M6 inserts on the back are compatible with most KH 120 accessories.
The package includes the monitors, power cable, four self-adhesive feet and documentation.
