La Neumann MC 6 è il morsetto universale del Miniature Clip Mic System. Permette di fissare il collo d'oca con la capsula KK 14 alla campana di tromba, trombone, corno francese e sassofono, ma anche a percussioni, aste e tubi di supporto, rendendolo uno degli accessori più versatili dell'intero sistema.
Il Miniature Clip Mic System (MCM) di Neumann è un sistema modulare pensato per portare il vero suono Neumann nella ripresa ravvicinata degli strumenti acustici dal vivo. Capsula KK 14, colli d'oca, clip di fissaggio e cavi sono componenti separati e intercambiabili: si combinano liberamente in base allo strumento e si sostituiscono singolarmente, con costi di gestione ridotti.
Con un'apertura da 0 a 20 mm, la MC 6 si adatta al bordo della campana e a elementi di piccolo spessore, mentre il supporto del collo d'oca ruota su due assi per un orientamento ancora più flessibile. Il peso contenuto, pari a 20 g, non grava sullo strumento né ne modifica il bilanciamento in mano all'esecutore. Il supporto per il collo d'oca ruota e si blocca a scatti di 45°, così da poter orientare la capsula nella direzione desiderata e mantenere stabile la posizione anche durante l'esecuzione.
Per i fiati, poter montare la capsula direttamente sulla campana significa mantenere una distanza costante dalla sorgente anche quando il musicista si muove, con un suono stabile e una migliore separazione dagli altri strumenti. Grazie alla KK 14 con SPL massimo di 153 dB, anche le trombe più potenti vengono riprese senza distorsione.
