Si fissa sul cerchio di rullante, tom e timpano da terra e sostiene il collo d'oca con la capsula KK 14, consentendo una ripresa ravvicinata e precisa senza aste ingombranti attorno al set.
Il Miniature Clip Mic System (MCM) di Neumann è un sistema modulare pensato per portare il vero suono Neumann nella ripresa ravvicinata degli strumenti acustici dal vivo. Capsula KK 14, colli d'oca, clip di fissaggio e cavi sono componenti separati e intercambiabili: si combinano liberamente in base allo strumento e si sostituiscono singolarmente, con costi di gestione ridotti.
Compatta e leggerissima, con un peso di soli 10 g, la MC 7 non aggiunge masse sul tamburo e lascia libero lo spazio di esecuzione del batterista. La capsula KK 14, con una pressione sonora massima di 153 dB, gestisce senza problemi i forti livelli tipici della batteria ripresa da vicino. Il supporto per il collo d'oca ruota e si blocca a scatti di 45°, così da poter orientare la capsula nella direzione desiderata e mantenere stabile la posizione anche durante l'esecuzione.
La MC 7 è ideale per palchi affollati, set di batteria compatti, tour e installazioni fisse dove servono ordine, rapidità di montaggio e un suono Neumann definito. Combinata con lo stadio d'uscita MCM 100 si collega direttamente al mixer tramite XLR con alimentazione phantom.
