Il Neumann MCM 100 è lo stadio d'uscita che permette di utilizzare il Miniature Clip Mic System in modalità cablata, collegandolo a un qualsiasi ingresso microfonico XLR dotato di alimentazione phantom a 48 V. È il complemento ideale per chi impiega le capsule KK 14 su mixer da palco, preamplificatori o interfacce audio, senza passare da un trasmettitore wireless.
L'MCM 100 riceve il segnale proveniente dal collo d'oca tramite il cavo AC 31, con connettore mini jack da 3,5 mm, e lo converte in un'uscita XLR 3 poli maschio bilanciata a bassa impedenza, pari a 50 Ohm. Il consumo dalla linea phantom è di soli 3,5 mA, compatibile con la grande maggioranza dei preamplificatori professionali.
Il corpo cilindrico compatto, con un diametro di 22 mm e una lunghezza di 77 mm, pesa appena 96 g e può essere fissato facilmente all'asta, alla cintura o al supporto dello strumento senza ingombro. La finitura nera lo rende discreto sul palco e durante le riprese video.
Grazie all'MCM 100, lo stesso sistema MCM può essere usato sia in configurazione wireless con trasmettitori bodypack, sia in configurazione cablata in studio o dal vivo, semplicemente cambiando il cavo di collegamento. È parte delle dotazioni dei set MCM 114 ed è disponibile anche singolarmente come ricambio o espansione.
