Il cavo CON-D25-XLRF è il multipolare Merging Technologies che collega gli ingressi delle schede installate nei convertitori di rete Horus e Hapi MkII a sorgenti con uscita XLR. Da un lato si trova un connettore DB-25 maschio da inserire nella scheda, dall'altro otto connettori XLR femmina, uno per ciascun canale.
Le schede d'ingresso Merging, come le schede mic/linea a otto canali, raccolgono tutti gli ingressi su un unico connettore DB-25: questo cavo trasforma quel connettore in otto prese XLR standard, a cui collegare direttamente microfoni, uscite di preamplificatori esterni, mixer o altre apparecchiature professionali. Il risultato è un cablaggio ordinato, rapido da installare e affidabile.
La lunghezza di circa 1,5 metri lo rende adatto all'uso in rack, per raggiungere una patchbay o una stagebox vicina, oppure per collegare sorgenti posizionate accanto al convertitore. La realizzazione originale Merging garantisce la corretta corrispondenza fra pin e canali, evitando inversioni o errori che potrebbero compromettere una sessione di registrazione.
