La struttura chiusa garantisce un isolamento acustico superiore a 34 dB oltre i 4 kHz: la NDH 20 è quindi perfetta per lavorare in ambienti rumorosi, per il monitoraggio in sala di ripresa senza rientri nel microfono e per l'uso in esterni. La costruzione in metallo, con archetto in acciaio armonico e padiglioni in alluminio, assicura robustezza e durata nel tempo, mentre i cuscinetti circumaurali in memory foam offrono un comfort elevato anche nelle sessioni più lunghe.
Il design pieghevole e la custodia in tessuto inclusa rendono la cuffia facile da trasportare. Il cavo da 3 m è staccabile e sostituibile ed è fornito con adattatore da 6,3 mm.
