Bass Station II is an analog monophonic synth based on the original Bass Station, a synthesizer released about 20 years ago that quickly became a classic and defined much of the music of the 90s. Now, the second version of Bass Station takes advantage of technologies developed over the years, for a completely redesigned synthesizer for the twenty-first century. Bass Station II has two filters, two oscillators with a third supporting sub-oscillator, the ability to save patches, and a completely analog effects section. Add to all this a step sequencer, an arpeggiator, a keyboard with full-size keys, and a powerful modulation section, and you have a complete overview of the features of this absolutely extraordinary synth. The new Bass Station is designed for low frequencies but capable of much more: its synthesis engine was created to handle bass lines but is extremely versatile and capable of producing effective lead parts and impressive arpeggios. The powerful new synth from the British company, likely to quickly become a great classic like its predecessor, contains all the sound creation potential of the original Bass Station, with the added benefit of completely redesigned features including design, modulation, effects, filters, and much more.
