NOVATION BASS STATION II AFX SPECIAL EDITION has the same powerful feature set as Bass Station II, with the addition of the pre-installed AFX Mode, which further refines how the monosynth can be played and programmed. Perfect for sequencing and arpeggiation, each key on the instrument can become a new patch, making it a powerful analog drum machine, a flexible tool for sound design, a killer bass or lead machine. With a new purple color, the well-known "A" logo, and a custom giftbox designed by Weirdcore, a long-time Aphex Twin collaborator, the NOVATION BASS STATION II AFX SPECIAL EDITION is destined to quickly become a highly sought-after collector's item.
Aphex Twin had already made a significant contribution to the development of Bass Station II version 2.5, particularly for the implementation of microtuning editing, through which the frequency triggered by each individual key press can be completely controlled, giving scales another dimension.
NOVATION BASS STATION II AFX SPECIAL EDITION has two filters, two oscillators with a third sub-oscillator for support, the ability to save patches, and a completely analog effects section. In addition to all this, there's a step sequencer, an arpeggiator, a keyboard with full-size keys, and a powerful modulation section.
Along with 128 new patches created by sound designers like Richard Devine, the integrated AFX Mode allows you to recall typically analog drum sounds or sound effects in the style of Richard D. James, making the AFX Station the touring companion for every DJ or producer.
