25-Key USB-MIDI Controller with Fatar Keyboard
Impulse is Novation's new USB-MIDI controller with backlit drum pads and total DAW and plug-in control, available in 25, 49, and 61-key versions. In addition to the precision keyboard, drum pads, and comprehensive control surface, Impulse comes with the new version 4 of the award-winning Automap software, which instantly gives you full control over DAW and plug-in parameters, both internal and third-party. The keyboard is semi-weighted with aftertouch and ensures excellent touch response, while the 8 drum pads are backlit, allowing you to play beats, modify arpeggios, and launch clips in real-time in Ableton Live. The drum pads have 3 colors indicating the current status of the clip they control, just like the Launchpad: a yellow pad indicates the clip is loaded, a green pad indicates the clip is playing, and a red pad indicates the clip is recording. Impulse can be powered via USB or using a USB power adapter.
