NOVATION LAUNCHKEY 25 MK3 is a 25-key MIDI keyboard that offers total and seamless integration with Ableton Live software, but can be used in combination with any other software platform and any MIDI device thanks to its integrated standard 5-pin output. But the significant new features of this MK3 series are truly numerous. The new Scale, Chord, and Arpeggiator functionalities allow you to make the most of your harmonic and melodic ideas and inspirations, pushing them into new creative directions, with the ability to 'trigger' chords from single notes, transforming them into riffs, melodies, and sequences 'on the fly.' Thanks to the Capture MIDI function, you'll never lose a note again, even if you forget to press 'record', with a dedicated button to activate the function on Ableton Live. The Drum Mode then provides immediate access to Drum Racks. The 25-key version is ideal for those with limited studio space who want a high-quality, portable, and lightweight control surface, perfect for 'mobile producers' and performers. Through Novation Components, you can also configure the MIDI parameter assignments of the Launchkey's potentiometers, faders, and pads to control any type of MIDI message.
NOVATION LAUNCHKEY 25 MK3 also works in standalone mode, naturally becoming the perfect controller for any music production situation, with or without a computer. The Scale, Chord, and Custom modes, as well as the arpeggiator, can all be configured via Novation Components, then saving the setting to the Launchkey. The DAW that works best with Launchkey is Ableton Live, but these controllers work perfectly and have total integration with other Digital Audio Workstations like Logic and Reason. Support is also guaranteed via HUI with DAWs such as Studio One, Cubase, and Pro Tools.
