With the new LAUNCHKEY MINI MK3, Novation has made its popular 25-mini-key MIDI controller for Ableton Live even more powerful and versatile. Now you can always create your tracks anywhere, but with new important features such as a new arpeggiator, Fixed Chord mode, the new Capture MIDI function, 16 large RGB pads, transport controls, a rich software bundle, and much more. With the integrated keybed featuring the best touch response mini keys in its category, completely redesigned pitch and modulation touchstrips, a sustain pedal input, and 16 brand new backlit RGB pads, the Launchkey Mini is the perfect platform for expressive performances and the ideal color-based system for launching clips.
The new Fixed Chord mode and arpeggiator allow you to make the most of harmonic and melodic ideas and inspirations, taking them in new creative directions, with the ability to 'trigger' chords from single notes, transforming them into riffs, melodies, and sequences 'on the fly'. Thanks to the Capture MIDI function, you will never lose a note again, even if you forget to press 'record'. With such an immediate and complete device, you can spend much more time producing tracks and thinking about music rather than clicking mouse buttons, especially considering its total integration with Ableton Live.
With dedicated transport buttons, you can start or stop recording and/or playback, activate or deactivate Mute, Solo, Volume, Pan and Send controls, instantly take control of Macros with eight rotary encoders, for a total control experience over Ableton Live. But naturally, the Launchkey Mini is a standard MIDI controller and can therefore be best used with any DAW and software, in addition to having a rich set of applications.
Included with the Launchkey Mini is everything you need to create complete and effective tracks, from virtual instruments to sound libraries and effect plug-ins from leading brands in the industry such as AAS, Softtube, Spitfire Audio, XLN Audio, and Klevgrand, plus membership to Novation Sound Collective, which allows you to get new sounds and plug-ins for free every two months. The Launchkey Mini also integrates a MIDI out port for connecting to hardware synthesizers and grooveboxes and a series of templates for using the controller with Logic, Cubase, Reason, or any other HUI-compatible DAW.
