Advanced Launchpad with 64 RGB Pads and Sequencer
Novation introduces Launchpad Pro, a significantly improved new version of its award-winning and widely popular controller for Ableton Live. Launchpad Pro allows you to create dynamic and expressive sessions in Live and any other music software, using an 8x8 grid of velocity-sensitive RGB pads to trigger and combine clips, create dynamic beats, build melodic lines, and control external hardware devices. Launchpad Pro is an evolution of Launchpad S and is perfect not only for launching clips. Novation has further refined its control surface to make managing Ableton Live even easier with four operational modes:
- Session Mode: to trigger and combine clips
- Note Mode: to create dynamic beats and play the grid like an instrument
- Device Mode: to apply effects to the performance.
- User Mode: to create custom performances and layouts
The instrument has been entirely designed to keep your focus on the performance. It allows you to apply effects simply and immediately, adjusting mixer controls with the push of a button. Of course, to maximize creative possibilities, you can build virtually anything imaginable with Max for Live using the Launchpad Pro to control it. Launchpad Pro is the ultimate tool for Ableton Live: 64 RGB pads to launch clips, play rhythmic tracks, and control your mixer, all while creating a light show. Along with velocity-sensitive pads, the other fundamental new feature of the Pro version is the RGB pads, which allow you to have colors corresponding to clips in Ableton Live, enabling you to focus exclusively on creativity and combine loops and ideas. The ability to play Launchpad as an instrument is even more extended and optimized with the Pro version: you can easily play notes, scales, and chords on the grid because Launchpad Pro illuminates its pads with melodic layouts. Each time you press a pad, there will be corresponding feedback from the RGB LED, and in Standalone mode, you can use the grid to play any external software or hardware, from Cubase/Logic or via MIDI to a hardware synth like Bass Station II.
