Novation MiniNova has three oscillators, two filters, six envelopes, three LFOs and 36 different wavetables. Patch selection is simplified by a convenient and functional knob and a very intuitive scroll wheel, which together allow you to search for and recall 256 ready-made patches, plus another 128 if needed. A parametric matrix provides 24 powerful tools for shaping the sound via four potentiometers. Another dedicated cutoff knob for the filter allows for further powerful modulation of your sound. Among the main new features implemented, MiniNova introduces VocalTune, an extraordinary effect capable of varying the pitch of the voice, adapting it to the note played on the synth, all in real time. The new Novation synth also features a powerful new vocoder engine, which can be used via the included microphone or through an external input signal. Another great new feature is the 'Animate' buttons, which allow you to apply up to eight extremely expressive modulations, with a dedicated hold button to close one or more modulations/animations at a time. The 'Arpeggiate' mode then allows you to play and program rhythmic parts with extreme simplicity, with the possibility of making 'on the fly' variations.
