AccuEQ Calibration

To ensure you get the best performance for your space. It calculates the distance of the speakers from the listening position, adjusts the sound pressure level of the speakers, and sets the speaker crossover. The result is clear and balanced surround sound.

Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer

The first allows you to expand the audio experience with channels and sounds coming from the audio, while the second allows you to experience immersive sound even without a true Dolby Atmos setup. When playing any Dolby format through traditional speakers, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer simulates the height effect of Atmos.

Auro-3D

It is available via an optional upgrade, a true next-generation three-dimensional audio standard. Auro-3D elevates the audio experience by adding height to the soundstage, placing sounds in their true position and offering the thrill of three-dimensional sound for both music and cinema.

Klipsch Optimize Mode

For owners of Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers, this mode is available, allowing you to select your speaker model for each channel, thereby automatically optimizing the crossover setting.

Roon Ready

This is a music connection, streaming, and management system that takes music from your digital streaming services and sends it to your audio devices in the highest possible audio quality.

Integrated Multi-Zone Streaming and Voice Control

In addition to HDMI switching, you can stream content to two locations within your home. When integrated with your existing smart home infrastructure using Apple AirPlay, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and other devices, you can stream content in Zone 1 at up to 8K60 quality and in Zone 2 at up to 4K120. You can also find and stream music through the TX-RZ50 receiver on your home Wi-Fi network. The RZ50 provides integrated access to Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, TuneIn, and Pandora.

Bi-directional Bluetooth

You can stream content to be played through the receiver from a mobile device compatible with AAC or SBC Bluetooth, or stream from the receiver to optional Bluetooth headphones with SBC, aptX, or 24-bit aptX HD codecs.

Sonos Certified

Whether you're starting a new Sonos system using an optional Sonos Port or already have an existing Sonos home audio system, you can manage it remotely using Sonos Volume Pass-Through on the Sonos mobile app. Use it to wake up devices, change inputs, and play your content at specific volumes. The TX-RZ50 supports up to three Sonos Ports covering three different zones in your home.

IMAX Enhanced Mode

When playing IMAX Enhanced compatible movies through the TX-RZ70 in IMAX Enhanced mode, you'll enjoy remastered 4K HDR visuals and powerful sound that is more authentic to what the director and sound editor intended you to see and hear.

Supported Resolution

Zone 2 HDMI Switching

Two different high-quality video signals can be output to two separate rooms in the house and watched simultaneously. One room can enjoy full 8K at 60 Hz resolution, while the other can display 4K at 120 Hz content. Regarding two fundamental aspects such as contrast and color accuracy, on the TX-RZ70 we have HDR 10+ (High Dynamic Range) which allows for higher highlights (up to four times) and darker shadows, as well as an expanded color gamut.

Dolby Vision

Perhaps the best HDR certification currently available on the market, guaranteeing a color depth of up to 12 bits compared to HDR 10's 10 bits and very high brightness up to 10000 theoretical nits. The machine has no less than 7 inputs and 3 HDMI outputs, then there are two digital inputs and 5 analog inputs including the phono one. There are 6 pre-outputs and 2 pre/line outputs for zone two and three, and a headphone output. It is obviously equipped with an Ethernet port, USB input, RS232, and trigger output.
