ORTOFON 2M BLACK LVB 250 is a special edition cartridge with a Nude Shibata stylus, commemorating the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth.
ORTOFON 2M BLACK LVB 250 was re-created from the concepts of its predecessor, the 2M BLACK, but its performance takes another step forward to improve the cartridge's capabilities and technical excellence.
ORTOFON 2M BLACK LVB 250 uses a Nude Shibata stylus on a Boron cantilever, a combination known from the acclaimed MC Cadenza Black cartridge.
The Nude Shibata stylus's slim, highly polished profile allows for an extremely large contact area with the groove walls and ensures particularly detailed reproduction across the entire spectrum, including even the highest frequencies.
The use of an extremely rigid and lightweight boron cantilever adds remarkable transparency, speed, and responsiveness.
