The ORTOFON CONCORDE MKII SCRATCH is a turntable cartridge released to coincide with the Danish company's centenary, 40 years after the introduction of the famous Concorde design. The ORTOFON CONCORDE MKII SCRATCH features a renewed aesthetic, more elegant thanks to the slight bevels and continuous lines that travel towards the stylus. The lifting/moving lever has a tapered shape, offers a wider grip area with excellent adherence, is interchangeable, and is very solid thanks to the metal ring. The new styli are wider and more robust, comfortable to handle, and have optimized attachment by means of a metal spring that allows us to feel the correct installation by touch. The wider opening of the stylus makes it less prone to dust accumulation and allows for a better view of the groove to enable more accurate positioning of the needle on the record. The ORTOFON CONCORDE MKII SCRATCH is the definitive needle for turntablism and scratching with a high output level, very stable, and with improved tracking. As the name suggests, the ORTOFON CONCORDE MKII SCRATCH is intended for the world of turntablism and various scratch disciplines, where the spherical stylus is preferred for its intrinsic ability to rest and adhere to the groove in situations of extreme stress. Designed for DJs who require significant tracking settings, the ORTOFON CONCORDE MKII SCRATCH undoubtedly represents the ideal solution. The ORTOFON CONCORDE MKII SCRATCH adheres perfectly to the groove and has been specifically designed for turntablism. Thanks to its high output level of 10 mV and tracking ability, this Concorde is suitable for scratching and musical genres that extend significantly into the low frequencies. The ORTOFON CONCORDE MKII SCRATCH replaces the previous "Scratch" and "QBert" models.
