ORTOFON OM 5E is a cartridge with an elliptical stylus, equipped with a moving magnet made of Noryl (a plastic and glass compound), a lightweight material that ensures high rigidity and freedom from resonances.
Through computer simulations, Ortofon was able to define the natural pivot point of the system, guaranteeing great precision and excellent oscillation balance. The result is improved linearity, greater channel separation, and reduced distortion.
