Monitor controller
The PALMER MONICON XL is a monitor controller with three analog stereo inputs, one S/PDIF input and outputs for three pairs of monitors with individual volume controls. A mono monitor or a subwoofer can be connected via an additional mono-summed full-range output. A unique feature of the MONICON XL is the correlation meter for displaying the phase difference between the left and right channels of a stereo signal. This allows you to quickly and easily detect mono compatibility errors in the mix. The controller can be custom configured to support your operating method.
Thanks to its fully analog audio circuit, the PALMER MONICON XL has no latency or signal degradation. With its additional functions, important for every studio, this device is much more than just a monitor controller. Two headphone outputs with volume controls and selectors for Main and Cue signals, a master control for Cue signal and a Talkback microphone with adjustable volume, as well as a mute switch and a dim button with volume control, which quickly lowers the monitor level by a preset value.
