PreSonus AIR18s 18-inch Active Subwoofer
Estimated delivery in Italy between 22 and 29 June
Designed to complement any full-range PA loudspeaker and a perfect companion for the PreSonus® AIR series, the AIR18 active subwoofer delivers a powerful, clear, and accurate low-end punch. With its 18-inch low-frequency transducer, driven by 1,200 watts (peak) of Class D power, it provides ample detailed bass, down to 30 Hz. Despite its power, the AIR18s is portable, compact, and lightweight, with a rugged, tour-grade birch enclosure. It’s easy to transport and suitable for mobile applications, as well as to install, with integrated provisions for the included caster kit, ground-stacking provisions, and ergonomic handles on either side. AIR-series subwoofers are easy to set up—use controls and signal processing presets. Set them for normal front-of-house use or pump up the low end with the Mo’ Bass preset. Invert the polarity, use the lowpass filter to set a crossover frequency, adjust the master output level of the power amp, even turn off the grille LED for installed applications—all with the touch of a button. A variable alignment delay properly aligns your three-way system. Most subwoofers are essentially omnidirectional, which can cause stage feedback and make monitoring difficult. Creating a subwoofer array helps keep excess energy off the stage and from the audience. AIR-series subwoofers provide the tools you need to create these arrays with ease. Most important, the AIR18s sounds great, delivering exceptional bass clarity and natural music reproduction. 18-inch low-frequency driver with 3-inch voice coil 1,200W (peak) Class D power amplifier 129 dB max SPL peak with 30 Hz to 150 Hz frequency response 2 combo XLR and ¼-inch line inputs and two XLR direct outputs Easy-to-use DSP performance presets: Normal (typical FOH use) and Mo’ Bass (extended low-end performance) Position adjustment presets: Normal (no array), Cardioid (ground-stacked cardioid array), and Endfire (endfire cardioid array) Fully variable lowpass filter (sets the crossover point) with presets for AIR15, AIR12, and AIR10 Alignment delay (adds time delay relative to full-range speaker) and polarity switch (inverts summed input signal) 2 comfortable ergonomic side handles, ground-stacking provisions, caster provisions (caster kit included), and defeatable front-panel LED Rugged, tour-grade birch enclosure with textured paint, 17 gauge steel grille
