Pro-Ject's E1 is the first turntable available in the new E-Line. The E-Line was designed to offer an excellent sound experience to all music lovers on a limited budget. Whether the end customer is a beginner or an experienced vinyl fan, the E1 is designed to impress. It's a Plug & Play turntable, pre-adjusted and factory-calibrated with ideal tracking and anti-skating settings. The new E1 is available in three different versions to best suit individual needs. All three models feature electronic speed adjustment 33/45RPM with a selector as standard. The turntable base is made of a composite of various mineral fibers, CNC-machined to optimize the internal space, avoiding empty spaces and minimizing resonances. The tonearm is the tried and tested Pro-Ject 8.6" aluminum, made even lighter, and with a new headshell optimized for the Ortofon OM 5E cartridge. The platter is newly designed, made of ABS polymers with internal reinforcements, resulting in an anti-resonant and ideal support for vinyl. To protect the E1 from dust, the elegant acrylic cover is also included. In conclusion, the Pro-Ject E1 boasts premium materials, an elegant aesthetic, and a lively, present sound. The accurate manufacturing process ensures indelible sound performance over time.
