Robust box camera belonging to the ZCam family, designed for static shooting in specialized applications such as broadcasting, video surveillance and industrial monitoring. It is also ideal for live streaming and recording events such as graduations, sporting events, musical performances, etc. With its 12x optical zoom, it is designed to capture specific areas and in combination with traditional PTZOptics PTZ cameras, it offers more angle options for video production.
Designed for multiple uses, this box camera is compact and easy to configure and integrate into a variety of production workflows. Cameras can be deployed up to 100 m away with standard Ethernet cabling.
Each ZCam includes the NDI option for seamless integration into network video production software, such as vMix, Wirecast, xSplit, MimoLive, OBS, Livestream Studio, etc. PTZOptics ZCams can also be used with a wide variety of video switchers from brands like Blackmagic Design, Roland, and NewTek and remotely controlled with optimized settings for camera exposure, white balance, noise reduction, and more.
Remote control options are also available if needed. Use the built-in zoom/focus controls in your favorite video production software like OBS, Livestream Studio, Wirecast, vMix, mimoLive, or Tricaster, or one of the hardware joystick controllers like the PTZOptics IP joystick, the serial joystick, or the SuperJoy. The free IP control application for Mac or PC, the open-source control software on GitHub, and the OBS plug-in are also available.
Finally, we would like to mention the availability of a wide range of free software solutions for PTZOptics users, including the Camera Management Platform (CMP) for camera management, control, color correction, and automatic tracking, the possibility of control via app for desktop and mobile devices, plug-ins and integrations for popular platforms, including OBS and Twitch, camera configuration and management tools, and support and testing utilities.
