The Catapult Mini is a compact 4-channel audio snake that allows you to send analog audio signals over a standard Cat 5 or Cat 6 STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) cable.

Analog Audio with Cat 5 Cabling
The Catapult Mini RX and TX behave like a typical four-channel audio snake; they allow you to send mic or line level signals from one location to another without signal loss, noise, or interference, and without digital audio conversion. What makes the Catapult system unique is its use of readily available, lightweight, and inexpensive Cat 5 Ethernet cable. Simply connect a shielded Cat 5 cable between any two Catapult modules, and they will use the analog conductors of the cable to deliver four balanced audio lines to any destination.
Passive Direct-Wire Operation
Catapult modules require no power, and because they keep the signal in the analog world, no digital conversion is needed. The direct-wire connection from the XLR connectors to the RJ45 connector on Cat 5 cable ensures audio passes without coloration or distortion.
Utilize Existing Cable Installations
Since many buildings are already pre-wired with Cat 5 cables, you can use them to transmit audio between distant rooms without having to install new cables. This eliminates the need for bulky and expensive multichannel audio cables and allows you to benefit from the installed network cable to easily connect from one room to another.
Mix & Match
All Radial Catapult modules are compatible with each other and each is sold individually, so you can select the combination that best suits your needs. The Catapult Mini RX and TX can be used paired together to create a compact 4-channel audio snake. However, if you prefer to have a stage box for connecting microphones, but want a compact breakout cable that fits in the mixer case, you can combine Catapult TX4 with Catapult Mini RX. The different types of modules allow you to customize the sending and receiving devices for any application.
