Nuance Select is a studio monitor controller designed to allow you to hear every detail from your speakers with such low distortion that it's virtually unmeasurable. Complete audio transparency is achieved through an innovative circuit that allows you to hear the real mix without any compromise in audio quality, while providing total control over the monitor setup itself.
Construction
NUANCE SELECT is housed in a robust steel enclosure with a milled aluminum front panel. The design of this tool easily adapts to the aesthetics of any studio. Its logical structure, based on the concept of "everything you need and nothing you don't," allows it to be integrated into the workflow of any producer, artist, or sound engineer. The monitor selection buttons are backlit, while the control switches are complemented by oversized, ergonomic chrome knobs.
Inputs, Outputs, and Additional Components
Nuance Select features two sets of stereo source inputs and two sets of balanced TRS outputs for amplified listening systems. A subwoofer output is also included, which can be activated as needed with both speaker sets. Two independent headphone amplifiers are available for A or B monitoring: each headphone output can be assigned to its own stereo source so that a Cue Mix can be sent to an artist in the room while the main mix is being listened to. The headphone jack outputs are easily accessible on the front panel, while an Aux stereo output is available on the rear panel, which can be used, for example, to power an additional headphone amplifier.

The Aux output of Nuance Select allows powering an additional headphone amplifier, for monitoring the mix, for example, in a recording room. The Aux output can be activated or deactivated via local control and can be assigned to both input sources just like the headphone outputs.
