2-channel Passive DI Box
At the heart of the design are two "high-performance" Radial transformers, which deliver a frequency response of 20Hz - 20kHz with less than 1.5dB of phase shift at 18kHz, ensuring excellent output signal levels without distortion. Unlike active circuits, which "overload" when the input signal exceeds their operating threshold, transformers saturate the signal, creating a pleasing effect that naturally "rounds off" tones, acting like a soft limiter. These characteristics make the ProD2 particularly suitable for processing signals from digital pianos, samplers, and drum machines that produce very high dynamics. Furthermore, the transformers are highly effective in eliminating noise caused by ground loops. Ultra-compact and built from solid, nearly 2mm (14 gauge) steel, it features a folded internal structure enclosed by a book-style cover, ensuring great rigidity and robustness, which are essential in most applications.
