Radial Engineering SGI TX/RX-J
Estimated delivery in Italy between 16 and 18 June
SGI TX/RX by Radial Engineering is a high-performance line driver for guitars or bass, consisting of a TX (transmit) unit and an RX (receive) unit. The system can take an unbalanced signal and send it up to 100 meters (300 feet) using a common balanced XLR cable without loss of signal quality or tone, thanks to the Jensen transformer. SGI TX/RX can also be easily integrated into guitar setups and powered with standard 9V adapters.

Key Features
- Balanced line driver for guitar and bass
- Sends signal up to 100 meters (300ft) without loss
- Jensen transformers for optimal sound quality
- Does not alter the natural tone of instruments or amplifiers
- Can be powered by standard 9V power supplies for pedalboards
Does not alter the instrument's tone
SGI TX/RX sends guitar or bass signals over long distances without signal loss or noise, maintaining the instrument's original tone. In the studio, it allows the guitarist to sit in the control room and connect to a distant guitar amplifier. On stage, the SGI can be used to transmit the sound of the guitar amplifier using an off-stage isolation cabinet or to manage guitar signals to and from wireless systems, pedalboards, and amplifiers.

How it works
SGI consists of two elements: the SGI-TX transmitter and the SGI-RX receiver. The connection between TX and RX is made using a standard balanced XLR microphone cable. To use it, simply connect your guitar to the SGI-TX input and your amplifier to the SGI-RX output, and you're ready to go. The SGI TX uses a discrete buffer circuit to drive signals over long distances, while the SGI RX captures the signal and converts it to the appropriate impedance to drive the amplifier while maintaining the original tone.

Jensen Transformer
The SGI system now features Jensen transformers, ensuring superior audio quality: one on the SGI TX and one on the SGI RX. These transformers not only provide isolation to prevent hum and ground loop noise, but they are a fundamental part of the circuit that converts the signal at each end of the system. The use of industry-leading Jensen transformers in the SGI contributes to a wider, flatter frequency response, lower noise and distortion, improved dynamic range, and a higher signal-to-noise ratio. All of this helps to transmit audio cleanly over long distances without altering the original signal.
Pedalboard Compatible
The SGI comes with a 15V power supply included to power the TX unit, but it can also be used with standard pedalboard power supplies, making integration with these devices easier. Any 9V to 15V power supply can be used, and both positive and negative center pin polarities are accepted.
Note: This applies only to the latest SGI model with "Jensen Equipped" labeled on the top of the unit.
SGI Applications

SGI is the perfect interface for recording in the studio. Now you can sit in the control room and play guitar, listening to the control room monitors as you play. Simply plug your guitar into the SGI-TX, run a balanced cable to the SGI-RX, and rock out!
Using Radial SGI on stage

SGI offers a ready-made solution for large stages, where high-impedance guitar signals are often affected by the capacitance of long cables or noise due to lighting systems. The SGI balances the signal and delivers it without interference. Perfect for isolation cabinets, under-stage amplifiers, or quiet remote rooms.
A solution for complex routing systems

SGI can also be used to manage complex stage setups. You can route the signal from the wireless receiver to the pedalboard; then, use a second unit to return the signal to the guitar amplifier and push the signals as far as needed without introducing noise.
