The Switchbone V2 can be called the best ABY/C amplifier switcher. This device allows you to switch and combine up to three guitar amplifiers without introducing distortion, hum, or switching noise into the signal path. More importantly, the Switchbone V2 maintains the natural tone and feel of the instrument, allowing the guitarist's style to shine through.

Unlike other switchers that buffer the signal through integrated circuits, the Switchbone features Radial's award-winning Class-A audio circuit with all 100% discrete components. Class-A circuits are preferred by audiophiles and guitarists for the purity of the signal path and the warm, harmonically rich sound they produce. A Drag™ load correction control allows you to 'tune' the tone and feel as if you were plugged directly into your amplifier. This smart combination reduces impedance, allowing the use of cables up to 15 meters long without the susceptibility to noise that usually occurs with standard coaxial cables. To eliminate the classic and annoying switching noise caused by mechanical pedals and relays, the Switchbone employs high-performance optocouplers that essentially use light to send and receive commands. These devices increase or decrease the signal for smooth and controlled switching even with high-gain amplifiers. To eliminate hum and noise common in other switchers, the Switchbone V2 features transformer-isolated outputs and Ground-lift switches that further reduce noise. Polarity reversal switches on outputs B and C allow all amplifiers to be phased.

The Switchbone V2 can be used as a standard ABY switcher by using outputs A and B separately or together. When two amplifiers are active, the ToggleMode™ LED indicators flash, indicating the last amplifier chosen, giving you the ability to deactivate it or change the selection on the fly. To manage three amplifiers, reassign the tuner output to the third footswitch for rhythm or lead configurations.

The Switchbone V2 also enhances your setup with a variable Baseline™ buffer control, useful for reinforcing the front-end of your amplifier. An integrated output booster provides up to +18dB of extra boost, with the option to add mid-boost for more sustain during solos. You can reassign the Boost footswitch to an output for connecting a tuner (for silent tuning on stage). Add additional control to your performance using the Slingshot™ remote control output: you can activate effects, change cabinets, when combined with Tonebone™, Cabbone™, and even redirect effects using Twinline™.
