A worthy successor to the acclaimed ADI-8 DD, the ADI-192 DD has been completely redesigned to be the best existing format and sample rate converter. In addition to the considerable improvements over the ADI-8 DD, the ADI-192 DD also stands out for several new features implemented for the first time. The unit consists of three 8-channel format converters with 24-bit audio resolution. The three outputs in ADAT, TDIF, and AES formats can independently access the three inputs of the same format. Thanks to the free selection of inputs, signals can be copied and distributed between all connected equipment without ever having to disconnect any cables. 8 "real" conversion channels from all ports (4 XLR AES/EBU I/O and 2 ADAT and TDIF) even at 96 kHz/24 bit. At a sample rate of 192 kHz, 8 AES channels and 4 ADAT and TDIF channels are available. The ADI-192 DD represents the professional solution for converting digital formats in all types of applications, from 2 to 8 channels.
