The optional I64 MADI Card allows you to add 1 Input/Output MADI (64 channels in and 64 channels out) to the Micstasy preamplifier, the ADI-8 QS converter and the DMC-842. The card has optical and coaxial MADI connections; the signal is picked up from the input where a valid input is detected. The two connections are redundant, meaning that if the signal is lost on the coaxial input, the signal is automatically picked up from the optical input, or vice versa. With the OPTO-X the HDSPe MADI FX becomes a MADI interface with 3 optical I/O MADI
