8-Channel Remotable High-end Preamp with AD Converters - Optional I64 MADI Card
Micstasy is an 8-channel hi-end mic/line preamp and AD converter that combines typical RME features with a host of new functionalities. It can be used in analog mode (Mic/Line In - Line Out) and digital mode (Mic/Line In - Digital Out), with both signal paths operating simultaneously. In addition, the device is fully controllable remotely via MIDI (including MIDI over MADI). Micstasy's innovative design allows for the amplification and digitization of all analog signal sources. Whether it's high-level signals from the stage, typical studio signals, lower-level and high-impedance instruments, dynamic, condenser, or ribbon microphones. The signals amplified by Micstasy are available at the analog outputs for transmission, making an expensive splitter-box on stage obsolete. All functions can be remotely controlled via MIDI and MIDI over MADI, allowing the device to be placed close to the microphones and ensuring maximum sound quality. Adding an optional MADI card provides even more options. The I64 MADI card 8 (not included) provides serial pass-through functionality from one Micstasy to another (up to 8). All 64 audio signals are then available on the last device on a single line.

- Digital outputs: D-sub connectors for 4x AES/EBU up to 192kHz (plus 1 AES input as sync source) Dual ADAT for 8 channels at 96kHz
- Remote control via MIDI and MADI
- All settings can be permanently saved in 8 customizable presets
- Optional I64 slot
