4-channel microphone preamplifier
The RME QUADMIC II is a 4-channel microphone preamplifier ideal for recording studios and professional recordists. Excellent signal-to-noise ratio, even lower harmonic distortion, and a wide gain range, combined with the option of battery power, make the RME QUADMIC II the perfect choice for location recording and direct recording applications. Each of the 4 channels has a microphone and line input via Neutrik XLR/TRS Combo, 48V phantom power, polarity inversion, and a low-cut filter. Furthermore, each channel has an LED system to indicate signal presence, clipping, and 48V activation.
The gain is between 6 and 60dB, making it usable with any source.
On the rear there are 4 analog line outputs in 6.3 mm TRS jack format.
The maximum output level (both balanced and unbalanced) is +21 dBu, perfectly compatible with RME interfaces and converters equipped with analog inputs.
The RME QUADMIC II adds 4 more microphone preamplifiers to any system where high quality and portability are required: in fact, by accepting supply voltages from 9 to 18V DC, it can be powered by any energy source, including batteries and rechargeable batteries.
