ROLAND P-20HD is an instant video replayer that provides an affordable and easy-to-use solution that allows you to bring professional instant replay capabilities to any production setup. Offering seamless integration with most Roland A/V switchers and HDMI camcorders and cameras, the ROLAND P-20HD transforms everyday sports video productions into fan experiences. Using the intuitive controls and integrated color LCD, you can easily find replays of important actions to allow fans to relive the moment, on their streaming feed, on live event screens, or both simultaneously.
ROLAND P-20HD records directly to high-capacity SD cards, which are widely available and easy to swap out.
Both HDMI inputs feature built-in scalers, providing hassle-free connectivity with almost any video source.
With the ROLAND P-20HD, a single operator can easily mark, cue, and play back clips while managing other elements of a production. Simply record events as clips by pressing buttons as you record, then instantly play them back using dedicated panel switches.
With its built-in color display, the ROLAND P-20HD simplifies managing and executing your workflow in real-time. In the recording view, the screen shows the current video input, plus critical SD card information such as recording duration, remaining storage, and available time. In addition, in playback view, you can see cropped previews of all video clips for live playback or compilation into playlists.
Dedicated transport buttons include play, pause, forward, rewind, mark in, and mark out. An optically encoded jog/shuttle wheel provides smooth, precise control for scrubbing clips for playback and editing, while the T-bar allows you to adjust the playback speed. Activating the Speed Range function provides ultra-precise control, perfect for focusing on tight actions and contested plays.
Stereo audio I/O is supported via embedded HDMI and analog RCA jacks, and there's a convenient headphone jack for signal monitoring. Built-in EQ, limiter, and delay effects are also available to enhance sound and eliminate audio and video sync issues.
ROLAND P-20HD records natively in H.264, one of the most universally supported file formats available. H.264 maintains high quality even at low bit rates, providing excellent video with small file sizes. All popular online video platforms accept the H.264 format, allowing you to upload files created on the ROLAND P-20HD without intermediate conversion steps.
